In this section, you will find answers to the most common questions regarding our booking process, fees (there are none), deposit/payment and more. We also discuss details about Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney Parks and occasionally the new offerings at Universal Orlando Resort.

What do you charge for your services?

Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Did you know that when you book yourself online or via a direct 800#, theme park pricing already includes a travel agent commission? When you secure our services, Disney or Universal make sure we are compensated for our work. However, there's no additional cost to you.

Booking is so easy online. Why use a travel specialist?

Well, Disney or Universal vacation planning is quite unique and you may find yourself becoming overwhelmed by all the options available to you. Not just by the plethora of hotels available, but dining reservations and meal plans, park ticket combos, the Lightning Lane/Universal Express passes and more. We take care of the stressful stuff, so you can enjoy your trip.

Our representatives not only have personal experience having visited these theme parks for decades, but they've been trained exclusively by Disney and Universal on how to sell their product. In-depth sales courses are a requirement before a travel specialist can book Disney and Universal vacations. Plus, avoid the frustration of dealing with a random 800# sales agent at a call center half way around the world. When you book with Outer Rim Travels, you will deal with the same individual every single time. A person who knows you and your family's tastes.

So, how do we get started?

That's easy, click the "Free Quote" link and fill out some of the basic information about your trip. If you would rather speak to a representative over the phone, by all means... call us!

Within 24 to 48 hours you will receive a couple of quotes. If you are not pleased with say, your hotel, we will discuss other options that fit your budget. Once you are 100% satisfied with your vacation package, payment options (or deposit) must be arranged over the phone. Emails/texts are not secure. By the way, your payment is processed directly through either Disney or Universal etc.

Okay we're booked, now what?

If you've paid your deposit, your rep will be in touch (prior to the full payment due date) to lock down final payment. Have you decided where the family would like to dine? Those reservations can be secured by us as well. Naturally, we recommend reserving dining sooner rather than later, as certain restaurants tend to sell out quickly.

Remember...

We're just a phone call, text or email away!

There's no such thing as a silly question, just the one you don't ask.

What’s Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge?

WDW Star Wars Galaxy's Edge It is a Star Wars-themed area at both Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, as well as in Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The expansions encompass 14 acres at each park, the largest in Disney's history. The lands were announced on August 15, 2015 and construction at both parks began on April 14, 2016.

At Disneyland Park, Galaxy's Edge is located to the north of Frontierland, where the Big Thunder Ranch and backstage areas once were. While at At Disney's Hollywood Studios, Galaxy's Edge replaced the majority of the park's Streets of America, as well as the surrounding backlot facades, restaurants, and shops.

When did the new lands officially open?

The first expansion opened at Disneyland on May 31, 2019. Disney World's Hollywood Studios version launched on August 29, 2019.

If you were fortunate enough to attend Galaxy’s Edge “Opening Day” at Hollywood Studios (as we were), it’s surely a memory any Star Wars fan will cherish forever. I mean, we walked into the Star Wars universe!

What are the E-ticket attractions at Galaxy's Edge called?

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is a simulator ride which allows guests to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon herself.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a trackless ride in which guests are involved in a battle between the First Order and the Resistance. After facing off against Kylo Ren, there is a slight drop as guest shuttles simulate a crash landing back on Batuu.

Tell me about the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Star Wars: Galactic StarcruiserThe Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser officially opened on March 1, 2022. Outer Rim Travels has been quite successful booking our fellow Star Wars fans aboard the Halcyon Starcruiser. Let us help you as well. <click here>

On May 30, 2018, it was announced that the hotel or rather "Galactic Starcruiser" would be located just south of Disney's Hollywood Studios, to the east of World Drive. That July, it was revealed that the Starcruiser’s direct entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios would be located near the TIE Echelon and across from the Milk Stand at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Guests staying aboard this luxury starcruiser travel across the galaxy and make a stop at Batuu during their 2-Night all-inclusive adventure. The “shuttle-pod” transportation system resembles a shuttle spacecraft that transports guests between the Starcruiser and the land while maintaining the illusion of traveling from space to the planet's surface and back.

Star Wars aboard Disney Cruise Line

Is it true Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, will feature a Star Wars lounge?

That is 100% true! It’s the very first of its kind. Per Disney, Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge is a “stylish space bar boasting stellar views” of that galaxy far, far away. The concoctions here are quite different from what Oga offers at her cantina on the planet Batuu.
